Scrambled Egg Recipe


Scrambled Eggs
  • 2 - Beaten eggs
  • 1/2 tsp-Mustard seed 
  • 1/4 tsp-Turmeric powder 
  • 1/4 tsp-Chilly powder
  • 1 small slice-Ginger finely chopped 
  • 2 medium - Onions finely chopped
  • 2 medium-Tomatoes finely chopped
  • 3 nos - Green chillies chopped 
  • 1 stalk-Curry leaf chopped 
  • salt to taste
  • Oil


Method of preparation
  1. Take a pan and heat the oil and splutter the mustard seeds.
  2. Add the chopped onions, ginger, green chillies and saute till the onion becomes half soft.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and saute till its juice separates from tomatoes.
  4. Add the turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt and mix well.
  5. Add beaten eggs and stir continuously with your spatula.
  6. Add half curry leaves and a quick stir.
  7. Garnish scrambled eggs with the other half curry leaves.
Tip: To make the onions soft in the pan quickly you can add a pinch of salt at the very beginning while you add chopped onions to the wok and stir.
