Prawns Roast

½ kg prawns-(scales removed & cleaned)
  1. 8 chillies- finely chopped (I prefer a bit spicy so added 8 slit green chillies. You can according to your spice level)
  2. 1 big ginger-chopped Julienne size
  3. 1 medium onion- finely chopped
  4. Curry leaves (appropriate quantity)
  5. 2 tspn-Chilly powder 
  6. ½ teaspoon-Turmeric powder  





First just cook the prawns separately
  • Rinse the prawns in running water.
  • Take some water in a pan, add half amount of turmeric, chilly powder, chopped ginger & chillies, salt. Save the other half for frying the prawns.
  • Add prawns and cook well with the stock.
Frying the Prawns 
  • Oil in a pan.
  • Add some chopped ginger, onions, green chillies, curry leaves and stir.
  • Then add chilly and turmeric powder.
  • Add cooked prawn to the pan and roast till the stock evaporates and becomes a thick gravy. 
  • Garnish with curry leaves (Optional)
Note: You can make it semi gravy by keeping the stock without drying it out.
